Gail and I have been in a sprint for the last couple of years, it seems — and we’ve fallen behind on keeping you up to date! But our wonderful volunteer Dan Noel is helping us with web support and detailed follow-up articles such as this one — thank you Dan! So we are catching up slowly but surely. And look at all those interviews – almost two per week in 2025!
And you might not realize the time involved for each… so we’re going to tell you:
- It can take Gail about an hour of back-and-forth with the podcaster just to coordinate the interview.
- I have to show up early, dressed to kill, to coordinate audio and video, etc.
- The interview can take an hour or two.
- Most times, we follow up by writing an article and publishing the interview.
That’s an average of 5 hours for each interview. Now you know. But it’s totally worth it; we usually reach a minimum of 1,000 viewers and up to 100,000 or more for the more popular ones — on our ten RG911 social media platforms:

We probably have an average of 30,000 viewers per interview, as they are shared over time, x 95 interviews = 2.9M views.
That’s the order of magnitude. ChatGPT estimates up to 3 million. (This 2023 PBD RG911 YouTube “Short” 7-minute clip alone had 2.3M views.) And many platforms don’t even publish their view/listen counts at all.
